Dedicated to the endangered species, cultures, & spirits that ask us to tread lightly.
“Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.” - Howard Thurman

Art is long, time is fleeting
Don’t miss the heart that’s beating
Cast your love into something you feel strong
Lessons learned. take your turn
Don’t give up and don’t get burned
From the growing piece of wisdom in your heart

Oh moon, oh moon, we sing to you
If we only knew…
Oh moon, oh moon, we sing to you
If we only knew what we could do -
(Maybe then I’d be in love with you)

Life is short, time is fleeting
So don’t miss the heart that’s beating,
Cast your love into something that feels strong.
The world doesn’t need anybody
to resist the calling thunder
what it needs is for you to come alive.

Bugling by Tule elk (Cervus canadensis ssp. nannodes)

Tule elk are majestic animals found only in California. During European settlement, they were hunted to near extinction. The entire Tule elk population was reduced to a single family estimated to be as small as 5 individuals who found refuge. California passed legislation to protect Tule elk and their population has grown to over 4000 today, although they still struggle as a result of habitat loss due to overdevelopment. Together we can protect the fauna and other inhabitants we that we share this small planet with. May we all come alive.
